Honest about the hard part
No AI can weigh food through a camera. A single photo has no scale reference, and the biggest calorie contributors — cooking oil, butter, sugar in a sauce — are often invisible. So izeeva plays it straight:
- ✓Weights are estimates for you to correct — a 10-second review beats a wrong number you trust
- ✓Hidden ingredients like cooking oil are shown as "assumed", so you can remove them if they weren't used
- ✓Every number is computed from USDA food data based on the grams you set — never invented by the model
- ✓Nutrients we have no data for are hidden, not shown as zero
